When I left school I worked for my father in the building industry. I have worked at Stamco for 22 years.
We have seen some fantastic changes over the years and we are always looking to improve our service to our customers. I am happily married to Sharon, with four children, three girls, Bethan, Ellen and Lara and the youngest a boy, Jake – we got there in the end!!! I have always played football and have played at a reasonable standard throughout my career and still enjoy playing Vets football even if on Sundays the bones are creaking. I have just started running more frequently and taking part in some cross fit classes as I need to get fitter. Outside of work I enjoy walking the dogs, two nutty boxer brothers, and spending time with my family.

Educated to A level standard and should have gone into the Journalism industry, but ended up in the Softwood Timber Trade.
Been in the industry now since 1980 and worked at every level of the supply chain from merchant through importing to shipper, so have a wide knowledge of the industry. Have 2 grown up children, both girls named Lina and Alys. Played semi-professional football for Fulham and Q.P.R. in my younger years, but did not get signed unfortunately. Went on to play Sunday football before retiring early at 26 and then taking on house projects, doing them up and guess what, using timber! Now serve voluntarily on the London Softwood Club committee.

I have worked the Mainline sales team since 2009, I was only 20 when I started...the years have not been kind to me.
Although I live and breathe all things wood, outside of work I enjoy playing football and especially the social aspect, I follow Manchester United and specifically the work of the Neville Brothers.

I have been with Stamco for over 20 years, I’m a family man with a wife and 3 children.
In my spare time you will find me running, I regularly compete with Hastings Runners in anything from 5k to half marathons. I will run a full marathon one day. Other than running I enjoy watching most other sports. I am a keen arsenal fan.

I have worked with Stamco Timber for just over 11 years and have a wealth of Timber knowledge.
My aim is to give the customer what they want and when they want it, customer service is key not only to Stamco but to me. I'm a Black Country Lad that escaped the Midlands and started a new life in the South East of England. I have a long term partner Jayne and I have two children (Boys) Jack and Archie. My interests away from Stamco Timber is of course Football who doesn't like football? The team I follow is West Bromwich Albion and I follow most sports including F1, Boxing, Golf, Cricket, Horse Racing...anything goes really.

I started with Stamco when I was 17, I am now 33, I have 16 year’s experience within the timber industry.
Three of those years I spent working in the merchant side of the business. I spent seven months at a competitor recently before coming back to the Mainline Timber side of the business.
I am a massive Formula 1 fan – I have been lucky enough to go to the Spa circuit. On my bucket list is to go to all races at some point.
Need to go on a health kick, though I’m always 'doing that tomorrow’...tomorrow needs to come quick!
Ryan Madge Sales Office
I have been with Stamco Timber since October 2015, though I have worked within the retail and customer service sectors since 2010.
Outside of work, I have an Honours Degree in English Literature and Language and enjoy playing football and supporting Newcastle United… even though I’m from the South Coast...clearly not a Glory Hunter! I have a fiancé, called Kate, and a 3-year-old Son called Noah.
"Stamco Timber always try their hardest to fulfil their commitments, the sales staff are very friendly and always get back to me."
