We have already seen non-timber related products being introduced into the market place in the form of Weatherboard and Decking, we chose Marley Cedral Cladding and Millboard Decking as the two market leaders and can see these products selling well through all of our branches.
No doubt more non-timber products will be introduced and so rather than sticking to what we know we are willing to take on these new products rather than lose market share. There will always be a place for timber but the maintenance side, after installing these products, are minimal and when customers weigh up the minimal cost of maintenance and repair versus using timber they will choose the more expensive option to buy and then save money because they have very minimal on going costs for the next twenty years plus.
Our Planing Lines are reasonably up to date so other than repairs, these machines will last us for many years to come. The only change here would be to increase capacity and not sacrifice any quality. We may introduce a machine that will enable us to machine wide section timber up to 300mm wide. We have our own delivery fleet and these are being updated as and when we need to change them in line with emission restrictions especially within our major cities. Our delivery coverage is very good and we are flexible if we need to go outside of our set delivery days. We are always looking to improve the efficiency of our service and improve how we are suppling our customers. Christmas 2016 saw our new baling machine installed which weighs every bale of shavings we produce and the packaging is excellent.
We will be keeping our Website fully updated with our latest offers and we will also enhance how we quote our customers from our website so they can select from a product listing.
